What You'll Do

Job Summary


  • Assist Financial Controller to lead and prepare the Group Consolidation including listed company reporting and compliance matters, Overseas Business Reporting, Group Tax Reporting, Treasury Funding Operation and Group Budgeting Process (mainly Consol and Corporate Function).  Participate in Consolidation Revamp Project (migration from HFM to Oracle EPM FCCS)


Key Roles & Responsibilities


Financial & tax Reporting


  • Prepare monthly Group Consolidation & Schedules including listed company reporting (e.g. Interim and Annual Results & Reports, Announcement and Circulars for ad-hoc projects) and compliance matters (e.g. Size Tests, Related Party Transactions)
  • Ensure the sub-groups Consolidation are properly prepared and straightly adhere to the group deadlines
  • Review and handle monthly Overseas Business Reporting for consolidation purpose
  • Prepare papers of the Board and Audit Committee
  • Assist FC for tax filing and various tax reporting (e.g. CbCr, Master File) 
  • Review statutory accounts for corporate companies 
  • Conduct bench-marking research for market and industry practices of listed companies


Management Reporting and Budgeting


  • Prepare monthly Group Consolidation for Management Purpose to FP&A team and parent companies, and analyse the results and prepare variances analysis for corporate division.
  • Assist in Corporate Function Budgeting Process




  • Support financial controller to review cashflow and handle daily cash operation for financing, and prepare the relevant KPI for capital/cash management purpose


Process and Compliance (direct reporting to Deputy Group FC for this part)


  • Involve in the Consolidation Revamp Exercise from HFM to Oracle EPM FCCS (Financial Consolidation & Close)
  • Assist FCs in developing and formulate Group Accounting and Financial Policies and Regulations and alignment between HK and Mainland

Who You Are


  • University Degree Holder in Accounting/Finance or other disciplines with Accountancy Conversion Program
  • At least 10 years of working experience including 5 years of audit experiences in reputable audit firms, not less than 3 years of commercial finance experiences in listed companies or scalable organization, and
  • hands on experiences in Group Consolidation and listed company reporting, commercial finance experiences in HK listed companies with properties/real estate experiences
  • CPA in a recognized professional body (e.g. HKICPA, ACCA, AICPA) 
  • High personally accountable person to take full responsibility of the assigned tasks and action
  • Field Specialist who is keen to stay at the top of the Professional Accountant knowledges esp. HKFRS and Listing Rules
  • Able to identify different accounting practice across the group and then drive for alignment
  • Use of technology to facilitate and streamline work, and standardize/formalize the filing for information sharing 
  • Able to work under pressure to drive results and deadlines and avoids accepting or making excuse
  • Transparency and willing to share knowledge 
  • Good command of written and communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Strong knowledge in HKFRS/IFRS and listed co reporting requirements
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experiences in consolidation tools of Oracle HFM or FCCS
